What are your reactions?
I was really impressed. I thought just few students (?) would participate in AIDS activities. However I could see the student’s enthusiasm and I was really happy. Also I heard the student’s conversation about AIDS day, which I felt we were doing really great job.
What did our actions mean to you / other students at ISKL / the world around us?
Our actions that we did on World AIDS Day made me really think about people who is suffering from AID and HIV. I felt that I have affected the student’s think about World AIDS Day.
What were your highlights from yesterday?
All incidents were my highlight. I really enjoyed them. Especially, soccer match was the best activity. I was standing and cheering for the students. It was really enjoyable. Furthermore, I enjoyed seeing the students wearing red T-shirts. I felt that all the students was thinking about AIDS day and gathering together.
What will you remember about the day?
We were all collaborating constructively. We had a lot of activities yesterday such as bake sale, soccer match, ribbon hunt and face painting. Although, we were separated into the different other groups, we did good job. I also remember that the other students really participated in our AIDS day activities. I am really thankful for them who participated in activities enthusiastically.
What do you think GI students should do next year on World AIDS Day?
What did you learn after taking part in an action project like this?
Students should educate the children who don’t know much about AIDS/HIV. Before doing these activities, I didn’t know AIDS was that serious. I also didn’t understand what AIDS/HIV is. However, I feel that I have learned very precious thing. I learned how serious AIDS is and what we should do on World AIDS Day. By this experience, I really feel that AIDS people desperately need to be helped.
